Two Week Greek Course in Athens

An intensive two-week Greek language course in Athens is the perfect way to boost your knowledge and start communicating in Greek. Speaking the language is our priority, and our interactive methods of teaching are made to satisfy communication needs from the beginning to the advanced levels. The Omilo team will guide you through a two-week program during which you can fully focus on improving your Greek language skills in the morning and exploring the “real Athens” during the afternoons. Learning Greek is more than just vocabulary and grammar, it’s also about getting to know the Greek culture and communicating with the locals. In the city of Athens, you will have the perfect opportunity to put the theory into practice. Moreover, you will be introduced to Athens from a local point of view.

Students are welcomed in the Maroussi school (North Athens) on the indicated arrival date at 10.00. If you are not a beginner, you will be asked to take a brief placement test so that you can be put in the class that is best for you.

After your classes on the first day, you are invited to enjoy a tavern lunch in Maroussi (included in the course price). This way you will get to know the other participants and teachers and learn some more daily Greek vocabulary! During the lunch we will also tell you about the afternoon activities and cultural program.

The classes will be held between 10.00 and 14.00. The course materials will be given to you by Omilo and are included in the price. The OMILO teachers are qualified and very experienced, and the small size of the groups enables them to consider the individual wishes and needs of the participants. Students at Omilo come from countries around the world and create an interesting, friendly and international classroom atmosphere.

For the 1st week you will have six days of classes, from Monday till Saturday. On Sunday and Monday there are no classes. This is a perfect time to explore the city, the museums, and the shops or book an excursion to such interesting nearby sites as Delphi, Sounion, Nafplion, the island of Aegina, etc. During the second week you will have four days of classes, from Tuesday till Friday.

OMILO knows that having fun is an essential part of learning. Therefore, in addition to the intensive Greek lessons in the morning, we organize various social and cultural activities during the afternoons (free of charge).
