We do not book the hotel for you, but you can do the booking directly with them.
Wee suggest this hotel, since it is located in the center of Athens, 5 minutes walk from Monasteraki Metro Station.(Green Metro Line: Piraeus-Kifissia).  For many years Omilo students have stayed here and were very happy.

From Attalos Hotel you will need 35 minutes by metro to reach the Omilo school In Maroussi. You do not need to change metro line, since the Omilo school is located only 300 meters from Maroussi Metro station which is also on the Green Metro Line.

Of course, there are also many other options in Athens, and students usually stay in many different places around the city.

If you prefer to book your own accommodation in Athens, be sure your hotel is located close to a metro station. Athens is a big city, but has a good public transport system. We would advise you to book a hotel which is within walking distance of the Green Metro Line: the Piraeus-Kifissia line, so you do not need to change metro line in order to travel to the school in Maroussi.

However, it is important for you to decide if you would like to stay close to the course location (Maroussi, North Athens), or rather in central Athens, close to museums, tourist attractions and nightlife. The classes take place in Maroussi, but most of our “cultural afternoon activities” take place in central Athens. From the centre of Athens (Syntagma, Monasteraki or Omonia metro stations), it takes about 30-45 minutes to reach the Omilo school. (depending on if you have to change metro lines). The metro lines do not operate between 11.30 pm and 5.30 am.

If you prefer to book other accommodation in Nafplion, it is advisable to book an hotel close or in the old town, so you do not need a car. Parking a car in Nafplion during the Easter holidays, is not that easy!

Pension Galaksi

The Greek courses on the island of Syros take place in the village of Azolimnos. Azolimnos is located at 4 km south-east of Ermoupolis. There is a regular bus connection to Hermoupolis (+/- every hour). The lessons take place in the Echo House, right at the beach of Azolimnos.

In the village of Azolimnos there are plenty of hotels/rooms close to the course location, exactly at the beach and at 200 meters from the busstop.

We suggest to you many places and hotels which are convenient, while enjoying your lessons nearby.

However, if you prefer not to book accommodation yourself,
Omilo can book a room for you in the pension Galaksi:

The Pension Galaksi is a family pension with only 6 rooms, located on a small hill, at 300 meters from the Echo House (course location) and the beach. The pension has a beautiful common garden with full sea-view.
The owners of the hotels are also living there, so you will have a lot of contact and feel in a family environment.
The owners DO NOT speak foreign languages, so you will have the chance to use and practice your Greek on a daily basis.

Since the hotel owners are only used to local Greek tourism, they do not have a website or email and can not be found on booking.com. We, therefore, book the rooms for you and take care of the reservations.

Prices are per room and per night.  The pension does not offer breakfast, but 4 rooms have a small kitchenette.

Note; in case you need good working wifi, then the Galaksi is not the best option. There is wifi, but mostly only works well in the garden, and not in the rooms.  Of course you can use your mobile data, or  if necessary, work  from you computer with a hotspot.   If you do not want to work with mobile date,  and you rely on wifi, then we suggest you look for a more expensive hotel, and ask them first about their internet connection, before you book.
