The Fygame Language Book, or ‘Φύγαμε για ελληνικά!’ (Off we go to learn Greek!), (+ Audio), is a ideal to improve your Greek , for Intermediate language levels

This language book is the result of the long teaching experience of the three authors, Marina Braila, Konstantinos Oikonomou and (late) Dora Stoimenidou at the Omilo school. It is a book intended for Intermediate learners of Modern Greek (B1 – early stages of B2 level, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR). Its main purpose is to give students the opportunity to improve their Greek reading and listening comprehension skills as well as to enrich significantly their vocabulary.

This book covers a wide range of everyday life topics and it also provides information on various social and cultural aspects of life in Greece.
It is taught in many schools teaching Greek all over the world.

The main body of the book consists of 12 increasingly difficult thematic units. It covers a wide range of everyday life topics and it also provides information on various social and cultural aspects of life in Greece.

At the end of the book, the students can find the transcripts of the listening comprehension exercises, the answer keys to the book’s exercises, and a selected vocabulary translated into 4 languages: English, French, German and Spanish.

‘Φύγαμε για ελληνικά!’ can be used either in the classroom, with Skype/Zoom lessons or for self-study. If you wish to work with the book under the guidance of the authors Marina Braila and Konstantinos Oikonomou, Skype lessons are available via Omilo.
