Have you ever been to a Greek wedding, or heard a traditional Greek wedding song?
If so, you probably know that Greek weddings are much more than a ceremony;
they are vibrant celebrations filled with music, dancing, and timeless traditions.

Like in every country, no two weddings in Greece are exactly the same.
Customs, rituals, and songs often vary depending on the family’s roots, regional traditions, and personal beliefs.

Each region brings its own character, atmosphere, and musical traditions to the celebration.
Needless to say, a wedding in the Greek cosmopolitan capital, is usually also quite different from a wedding in a Greek mountain village or on a small island, next to the sea!

Some years ago, one of the Omilo teachers got married,
so two days before “her big day” the Omilo team and students were happy to share a glass of champagne
and surprise Terpsi with singing the wedding song for her.
