Overview Course Locations in Greece

Our mission is to inspire and motivate people from all over the world to speak Greek and learn about Greece, while enjoying cultural activities in different areas in Greece. Since 1997 till today we have been successfully organizing courses in various locations in Greece, including Athens, Nea Makri (Attiki), Limni (Evia), Nafplion and the islands of Hydra, Syros, Andros and Lefkada. We are constantly looking for new locations because we want to show you the many different areas of Greece and their local traditions. For 2017 we offer courses in Athens, Nafplion, Syros and Lefkada.

Athens

Athens is an ideal destination for every age, lifestyle and budget and a great place to be if you desire a cultural holiday. Surrounded by stunning seas and mountains, this city is full of gems waiting to be discovered: renowned archaeological sites and museums; modern art galleries; concert halls and operas; fashionable shops, restaurants and bars; street markets and bazaars; ancient theatres and modern theatres; indoor and outdoor cinemas. In Athens, the old and the new live side by side. Greek Courses in Athens are possible from the end of September till the beginning of July.

Nafplion

Nafplion, only a two-hour bus ride from Athens, is one of the country’s most picturesque towns. It is a beautiful and timeless city with pedestrian streets, museums, shops, restaurants, cafes and a beach. Celebrate Greek Easter together with the Greeks! In the Greek Orthodox religion, Easter is the most important celebration. To give you the opportunity to experience the Greek festivities and to improve your Greek at the same time, the Nafplion course is organized during the Greek Easter Holidays. Around Nafplion, there are many interesting archaeological sites to explore: the entire Argolis peninsula, Mycenae, Epidavros, Argos and Corinth can be reached through local transportation, guided tours or by rental car.

Lefkada island

Lefkada (also written or pronounced as Leucas or Lefkas) is a Greek island in the Ionian Archipelagos, on the west coast of Greece. Lefkada is situated south of the known island of Corfu and north of Kefalonia island. In addition to its many top- quality beaches, a lively capital, and picturesque villages, Lefkada is a place that offers many options for outdoor activities. You can travel to the island by car, since it is connected to the mainland by a long causeway and a 50-meter-long floating bridge. The courses takes place in the village of Agios Nikitas, situated on the North West Coast of Lefkada Island, 11 km from Lefkada town.
